United Investments & Consult provides financial services related to the storage of securities certificates and/or the recording and transfer of rights to securities.
A professional participant in the securities market engaged in depository activities is called a depository or a "special depository." The person utilizing the depository's services for storing securities and/or recording rights to securities is referred to as the depositor. The relationship between the depositor and the depository is regulated by a depository agreement (depository account agreement).
As a Depository, we perform a variety of operations, but among them, the following key ones can be highlighted:
Services for the storage of securities certificates: securities can be stored in the depository's vaults, and record-keeping of securities in non-material form can also be done through electronic registries.
Services for recording rights to securities: transferring securities for storage to the depository does not imply a transfer of ownership rights to the securities to the depository.
Settlement of securities transactions: conducting operations in the exchange and over-the-counter markets.
Services for dividend payments: calculation and payment of dividends, withholding of income tax.
Other services, including securities lending, conducting REPO transactions, informational services, and others.
